Conspiracies are not only a tall tale of Hollywood; music has been a center stone for exposing, inventing, and bringing attention to some of the most famous and obscure theories.
Here are 7 songs and the ideas behind them.
1. AB-SOUL – NIBIRU
Nibiru is a crossing of rivers (Babylonian astronomy) associated with the equinox and the alignment of celestial realms. AB-SOUL describes a dimensional aspect to this world… Anunnakis, Pineal Glands, and the mysterious Planet X. Planet X is a pending doomsday that pertains to the collision of Earth and a large object from space.
2. THE BYRDS – MR. SPACEMAN
Are aliens our friends or are they visitors of malcontent? UFO’s are visiting a man, and he wants to take a trip into space with them. Mr. Spaceman was released in 1966, during the Space Race era between Russia and the United States. The song eerily resembles occurrences that take place in the documentary “The Curse of The Man Who Sees UFO’S,” in which Christo Roppolo has a strange knack for finding UFO’S… or UFO’S finding him.
3. MICHAEL JACKSON – THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT US
Who really killed Michael Jackson? One theory points to the Illuminati, after the release of “They Don’t Care About Us,” the song peaked to mainstream status, reaching number four in the United Kingdom, but falling to controversy within the United States for what was deemed “antisemitic” rhetoric within the lyrics. Who is “They”? At the beginning of the song you can hear a young girl state “We know the truth.”
4. TUPAC – THEY DON’T GIVE A FU*K ABOUT US
An homage to Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us,” Tupac approached the subject matter head-on with “Some say they expect Illuminati take my body to sleep” and obscure lines such as “Before I flee computer chips”. His album “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory” illustrates more connections to the elusive Illuminati. Who killed Tupac? The “No Grape Theory” provides a look into the BLA.
5. ANTI FLAG- CONFESSIONS OF AN ECONOMIC HITMAN
Jacobo Árbenz, Mohammad Mosaddegh, Salvador Allende, Jaime Roldós Aguilera, Omar Torrijos. Anti-Flag gives you the names of foreign heads of states and military that were killed by the CIA during Coup d’état.
6. B.O.B – FLATLINE
A taunt at Neil deGrasse Tyson and scientists across the world. Is the world flat? Ask Kyrie Irving or B.O.B and would they’d say “Yes.” What once was only labeled as a “lack of education,” the flat earth theory has gained ground amongst the college educated and professional athletes. Take a look at 10 ‘proofs’ that might change your mind.
7. THE BEATLES – SGT PEPPER’S LONEY HEARTS CLUB BAND
Paul McCartney is dead. Bill Shears replaced him and the band the world knew as “The Beatles” was truly no more. This theory has lived on for decades through newspaper headlines and radio interviews that bring new clues to the forefront every year. Here are “Paul is Dead” clues located throughout the song/album.
