Doctor Strange & Astral Projection

Astral Projection is becoming more of a topic with movies such as Dr. Strange showcasing the abilities on the silver screen.  What makes this ironic is the fact astral projection is a ‘superhero power’ we all possess.  Unlike the other mainstream superheroes & villains, this is the most believable of them all.  Dr. Strange was originally brought to the Marvel Universe to exhibit the mystical qualities that were missing from the comics at-the-time.  His career as a surgeon comes to an end when a car accident ruins the use of his hands.  He hears about “The Ancient One” located in the Himalayas & becomes a disciple of mysticism.

The Ancient One is based on the Theosophical traits relating to Djwal Khul or The Tibetan.  He is one of the Masters of the Ancient Wisdom.  Djwal Khul or Master DK as known to followers of Alice Bailey, first communicated with Madame Blavatsky, founder of the Theosophical Society & author of many books on the topic, including The Secret Doctrine. He relayed information of the cosmos, esoteric & was vital (according to Blavatsky) in bringing the 20th/21st century into a spiritual awakening.

Can astral projection be harnessed as a power to use at-will?  I believe that it can.  In my recent article Astral NAUT – I describe how my sensory dilation was achieved without the use of REM.  And if you think mysticism is only a topic of the obscure… it’s actually involved in a lot of mainstream films & shows.  Here are a few Disney films connected to the mystic realm.

Book of The Vishanti

marvel-legends-sdcc-2015-dr-strange-book-hasbro11

A book that Doctor Strange utilizes the power of white magic (right-handed path).  This contains spells & counter-measures for The Darkhold, which is a book consisting of black magic in the Marvel Universe.

Two real life examples of this would be Madame Blavatsky’s “The Secret Doctrine” this relates best to The Book of the Vishanti as it holds a right-hand atmosphere to the readers.  The equivalent of The Darkhold would be Aleister Crowley’s “The Book of the Law” which deals with the aspect of the left-hand.

*Esoteric powers would be classified under the “right-hand” path or the “left-hand” path, depending on the usage of it.

Orb of Agamotto

A magical object/crystal ball used to detect magic anywhere in the world, allowing him to see the location via real time. This can be compared to the use of Catoptromancy:  The art form that forces the past, present, and future into a cycle of mediumship by looking into the reflection of a mirror.  Positioned usually towards the moon.  A makeshift shadow box of sorts can be used to position the subject into complete darkness while staring directly into their reflection.

Experience the new reality.  Brought to you by your third eye.  Free-forming a self without being a version of that self.  A form of this (Scrying) can be found within techniques of many mediums.
